These Terms & Conditions apply to design services provided by The Visual Pitch Studio. By accepting a quote or agreeing to go ahead with a project, you agree to these terms.
If anything in your individual quote or written project agreement differs from these terms, the specific agreement for that project will take priority.

I provide creative design services to individuals, businesses and event clients across the UK.
Services
Services may include:
Logo design and branding
Brand identity design
Social media graphics
Marketing and promotional materials
Invitations and event stationery
Welcome signs, seating plans and event signage
Other digital and print-related design work agreed in writing
The exact services, deliverables, timescales and costs will be discussed and confirmed with you before work begins.
Enquiries and quotes
Website and social media enquiries do not create a confirmed booking or contract.
After receiving an enquiry, I will contact you by email to discuss your requirements and, where appropriate, provide a quote.
A project will only be confirmed once the quote and project details have been agreed in writing and the required deposit has been received.
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. If the project requirements change, the price and timescale may need to be reviewed.
Payments and deposits
A 20% deposit is required to secure a project and allow work to begin.
The remaining balance is payable once the project has been completed and you have signed off the final design, unless another payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.
All prices will be confirmed before work begins. The Visual Pitch Studio is not currently VAT registered, so VAT will not be added to quoted prices.
Payment details and accepted payment methods will be provided with your quote or invoice.
Revisions and changes
I want you to be happy with the final design, so feedback and reasonable changes can be discussed throughout the project.
Revisions should relate to the original agreed brief. If you decide to change the direction of the project, request additional deliverables or introduce work outside the original brief, this may affect the price and completion date. Any additional costs will be discussed with you before the extra work is carried out.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a project, please contact me as soon as possible by email.
If work has already started, I may charge for the work completed up to the cancellation date and any reasonable costs already incurred for the project. Any amount charged will be assessed fairly and in line with applicable consumer law.
The 20% deposit is not automatically non-refundable. Any refund or amount due will depend on the work completed, costs incurred and your legal rights.
If you are a consumer booking services online or by email, you may have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask me to begin work during that period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied if you then cancel, where the legal requirements for this have been met.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights you have under consumer law.
Design approval and delivery
You are responsible for checking and approving the final design, including spelling, wording, dates, names, contact details, colours and other supplied information.
Once you have approved a design, any further changes may incur an additional charge.
Digital files will be supplied in the formats agreed for your project. If printed materials are requested, printing costs, specifications and delivery arrangements will be discussed and agreed separately.
Timescales will be confirmed for each project. Delays in receiving information, feedback or approval may affect the completion date.
Copyright and usage rights
The Visual Pitch Studio retains ownership of the original design work and copyright unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Once full payment has been received, you will be granted the agreed rights to use the final design for the purpose discussed and confirmed for your project.
You may not reproduce, resell, alter or use the design for purposes outside the agreed usage without written permission.
Any third-party assets, fonts, stock images or other licensed materials used in a design may be subject to their own licence terms.
Portfolio and promotion
I may use completed design work in my portfolio, on my website and across social media to showcase my services.
If you would prefer your project not to be shared publicly, please let me know before work begins or before the project is completed.
I will not knowingly share confidential information or personal details as part of portfolio promotion.
Refunds
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the work completed, any costs incurred and your statutory rights.
Nothing in these terms affects any refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable law.
Liability
I will take reasonable care when providing design services and aim to deliver work in line with the agreed brief.
To the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information supplied or approved by you, or for problems arising from changes made to files after delivery.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
